Cancer Exercise Program

The daily journey through cancer to renewed, whole-health and wellness requires many supports: appropriate exercise and movement, nurturing nutrition, practices for relaxation and de-stressing, and community for sharing, inspiration, motivation, humor, conversation and comfort. All of these supports are provided within the cancer exercise program at Avera McKennan Fitness Center.

Our Movin’ On Cancer Exercise Program
The Movin’ On Cancer Exercise Program is for patients currently undergoing treatment as well as those who have completed treatment. Exercises are tailored to individuals’ needs and modified as appropriate so participants can work at their own pace.
